Moses Crow

The artist Moses Crow is the subject of much speculation. When asked to provide a "bio" for our website, Mr. Crow responded, "I can't provide you no bayou" as if our request made no sense.

Many believe that Moses Crow is the ghost of a negro slave. Although some folks say he's a haint, others say that his rescue efforts during Katrina have made him a saint. All we know for certain about Moses Crow is that he looks and sings like the son of a loup garou.

Crow's banjo-playing familiar, Joe de Blanc, had nothing to add.
